On the graduate level The American College of Switzerland offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in International Business.

This program is offered to students who have a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent) in business or in a related field. It encompasses 45 semester credit hours (15 graduate courses), which may be completed in 11 months of full-time study, including two regular semesters plus a summer term. MBA courses must be completed in eight areas: finance, advanced accounting, management, information technology, case studies, and methods of research and analysis.

Graduate Admission Requirements:

• Completion of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration. • Completion of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields, such as economics, including completion of the following courses:   economics   statistics   business law   marketing   management   accounting • Submission of score on Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) can be provided before or during the first semester of study.

Graduate Graduation Requirements:

• A final oral comprehensive examination or, subject to the decision of the Program Advisor, a thesis requiring a formal oral defense in lieu of the comprehensive examination is required to graduate from the MBA program. The thesis is in addition to the 45 credit requirement. • A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 (B) or above must be earned.
