MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
International Business

On the graduate level The American College of Switzerland offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in International Business.

This program is offered to students who have a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent) in business or in a related field. It encompasses 45 semester credit hours (15 graduate courses), which may be completed in 11 months of full-time study, including two regular semesters plus a summer term. MBA courses must be completed in eight areas: finance, advanced accounting, management, information technology, case studies, and methods of research and analysis.

Graduate Admission Requirements:
Completion of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration.
Completion of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields, such as economics, including completion of the following courses:
  economics
  statistics
  business law
  marketing
  management
  accounting
Submission of score on Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) can be provided before or during the first semester of study.
 
Graduate Graduation Requirements:
A final oral comprehensive examination or, subject to the decision of the Program Advisor, a thesis requiring a formal oral defense in lieu of the comprehensive examination is required to graduate from the MBA program. The thesis is in addition to the 45 credit requirement.
A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 (B) or above must be earned.
