Graduates usually progress through the management structures of major hospitality, leisure and tourism companies both in the UK and overseas. However, the course also provides opportunities for those wishing to follow careers in particular specialist areas such as human resource management, marketing, finance, or operations management. You will organise and participate in practical events and learn how to manage busy licensed house and hospitality businesses.

Placements & Field Trip
You will benefit from a 48 week paid placement in a sector of the industry of your choice. You can choose to undertake your sandwich period in the UK or overseas in the hospitality, tourism and leisure sectors. The university has placements available at some of the world's biggest theme parks such as Disney and Epcot. The university also has places in some of the top hotels of the world such as Gleneagles, Scotland. A European fieldtrip usually occurs in Year 1. The students, in the past, have made visits to Paris, Amsterdam and Rioja in Spain.
Admission Requirements
Minimum entry requirements are 180 UCAS points
GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C or above or equivalent (Year 2 and 4 entry available for HND holders).
University takes relevant work experience into account usually interviews applicants.
