This programme is suitable for high-school graduates aiming to build a career in hotel and restaurant management. Our diploma graduates gain supervisory or management training positions in large and medium-sized hotels and resorts, and in a wide variety of restaurants and catering companies. The programme is designed to appeal to those with an entrepreneurial spirit, managerial aspirations and as a basis for further studies at Bachelor level.

  • School & Campus : César Ritz Colleges Switzerland - First two years are offered either at the Le Bouveret Campus or at the Lucerne Campus and the last term at the University Centre in Brig.
  • Duration: Approximately 2.5 years with two six-month paid internships
  • Internships: Two 6 months internship
  • Awards: César Ritz Swiss Higher Diploma in Hotel & Tourism Management
  • Start Dates: January, April, July, October
  • Admission Requirements: 18 years of age or over; High-school diploma; and English language proficiency of TOEFL 500 PBT (173 CBT, 61 IBT) or IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

The Higher Diploma is awarded by César Ritz Colleges Switzerland are accredited by the State of Valais Department of Education, Culture and Sport, Switzerland.

  • Wine & Beverage Management
  • Mathematics for Hospitality
  • Language 2 (Fre/Ger/Spa)

Internship (6 months)

  • Internships in Switzerland require three levels of German or French.
