The Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland is located at the Professional Centre of César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, a prestigious international hotel management school with approximately 500 students from over 60 nationalities. The Culinary Arts Academy is placed right at the heart of several European culinary traditions, including the classics - Italian and French.
The Academy blends the desired skills and competencies of the 21st century kitchen with the latest management methods; combine this with an integrated Leadership Programme and paid internship in Switzerland. Switzerland is the perfect place for starting a culinary career. With students coming from all over the world, the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland offers a unique learning atmosphere and a truly multicultural experience.
Switzerland is a small country with a long tradition of hotel and tourism management located in the heart of Europe. Its cuisine is influenced by its neighbours, with fine dining from France and Mediterranean flavours.
The Campus
The Culinary Arts Academy students will benefit from a new state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen, a modern application kitchen for 12 students, a pastry and baking kitchen and a production training kitchen "à la carte". The new restaurant, offering seating for 80-100 guests, plus a Chefs' Table, will enhance your practical experience. 100 additional deluxe rooms, a new learning resource centre and a cafeteria seating 200 persons will also be available.
Paid Internships Worldwide
The six-month internship opportunity is an important part of the culinary programmes. Students will learn and practice basic culinary skills in the supportive environment of the Academy kitchens. But the real challenge comes when applying these skills in a commercial kitchen where every second counts.
