This programme covers all operational subjects including Food and Beverage, Production and Service, Front Office and Housekeeping. It will especially benefit those students who are primarily in the practical aspects of the hotel and catering industry. It includes two 5 month academic terms and two 4-6 month internships.

  • Duration: 2 years (10 months of study & 8-12 months internship)
  • Internships: 4-6 months per year
  • Awards: SHMS Diploma in Hotel Operations Management
  • Start Dates: September / February
  • Admission Requirements: Students must have successfully completed their high school diploma / Min. age: 17 years / TOEFL or IELTS

Progression: After successful completion of the Diploma, students can progress into the Higher Diploma and then the BBA Degree program.

Paid Internship

  • Deductions for food, accommodation, meals, tax, insurance: appr. CHF 1000 to 1400
