UBIS’s Information Systems Degree program is an intensive degree program concentrated on teaching students how to manage technology and information systems. Graduates will be well prepared to enter the global workforce as well-trained, effective data information managers and support personnel. The Information Systems degree program will provide students with an arsenal of skills geared towards installing, maintaining, operating and supporting the technology used in today’s international businesses and organizations. UBIS trains students in data management, network support and administration, data security, and preservation of resources. Students who complete the Information Systems Degree program will be able to manage technical support staff, interpret statistical data, design and maintain database systems, install and support local area networks and their related software and hardware, and install and support software and hardware used by end-users.

Successful Information Systems Degree candidates will be able to plan and manage meetings, make oral presentations, and have a solid grasp of Management Support Systems such as Decision Support Systems, Group Decision Support Systems, Executive Information Systems and Expert Systems.
