Diploma in Events Management
Events
management is a diverse and growing sector, which
incorporates the packaging and promotion of conferences,
conventions, exhibitions and high profile sports and
entertainment events. This programme prepares students
for employment in the sector, through consideration of
key issues, including advanced project management,
security, risk assessment, health and safety and
logistics.
In addition to the taught programme, PGD students can
elect to undertake a paid
internship, either in
Switzerland or overseas.
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in any discipline OR At
least 3 years supervisory experience in any industry &
English placement test on arrival
Progression
For suitably qualified or experienced applicants, the
PGD represents the ideal route into the highest levels
of academic study, in the form of one of SHMS' Masters
degree.
